Linda Wolcott

Linda Wolcott

Linda is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and an alumnus of both Skyline High School and the University of Utah. While attending college she affiliated with Chi Omega Sorority, Little Sisters of Minerva, and Army Sponsors. She was awarded a scholarship from the Women's Resource Center. Also during college Linda began working for a financial investments company that specialized in purchasing and managing commercial income properties for their clients. The experience piqued her interest in real estate and inspired her to go into real estate as a selling agent in 1979. After moving from her first job in a commercial real estate firm to Gump & Ayers Real Estate, she and her brother opened their own company, Lewis, Wolcott & Dornbush, which ultimately merged with Summit Sotheby's Realty in 2008.
Throughout her career, Linda has successfully marketed large bank-owned condo projects such as American Towers and Springfield. In addition, land development opportunities such as North Cove, Capitol Hill and Dorchester Pointe were successful projects for her marketing skills. Recently, she was part of the listing team for the prestigious La Caille Restaurant and surrounding property sale in Salt Lake City. Residential real estate is now her focus in the Salt Lake Metropolitan area and surrounding ski resorts.
During her extensive real estate career, Linda has been awarded honors in the Realtor Hall of Fame since 1986, served as President of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors, acted as Chairperson of Utah Association of Realtors RPAC Committee, been Salesperson of the Year for the SLC Board of Realtors, received the Service Award from the Homebuilder's Association, and held office with the Women's Council of Real Estate. She wrote a monthly article for the Salt Lake Realtor magazine for many years and served as Principal Broker of Lewis, Wolcott & Dornbush Realty for 15 years. In the community she has participated on the Planned Gifts Committee for Primary Children's Hospital and the President's Club for the U. of U. Current affiliations include acting Trustee for the Salt Lake Honorary Police/Sheriff Colonels and membership in the Educational Resource Development Council for the Health Sciences Department of the University Medical Center.
Linda and her husband, Jim Steele, love traveling and have enjoyed some incredible adventures in Africa, Alaska, Mexico, Russia, and many Western European countries. Golf trips with friends are her current free time activity.
